2021 OALT/ABO Conference – Call for Submissions

OALT/ABO 2021 Conference

Virtual North – 2021

Good news – the deadline for submissions for our 48th Annual Conference has been extended to November 20th!

We would like to invite everyone to our first virtual conference! The Association began planning our conference to travel to Sudbury but, due to the current pandemic and out of an abundance of caution, the decision was made to move our conference online. Although we cannot be there together physically, we are still going to take you there to experience the Sudbury community in a virtual way. In times of a pandemic, isolation, and uncertainty, Virtual North aims to explore how our rapidly evolving virtual lives connects us and bring us closer together, no matter where we are in the province. Join us on an exciting adventure to travel to a Northern Ontario community, virtually.

Submissions

If you would like to participate as a presenter, please fill in our Submissions Form.

We are looking for individuals or groups to create pre-recorded webinars or host live presentations. Opportunities for a live question and answer periods will be offered for pre-recorded sessions and can be offered at various times. If you would like to create a virtual presentation about your library and/or special programs they would be welcomed.

No physical travel is required for this conference so your employer may allow you the opportunity to attend some of our live sessions or one of our taped sessions.
